One member of the team brings more than 35 years of experience as a talent manager, building a career around recognizing potential, developing people, and helping them achieve their goals. That experience has created a deep appreciation for listening, building relationships, and supporting people through important moments in their lives. Family has also been a guiding influence, with 41 years of marriage and four children reinforcing the values of commitment, perseverance, patience, and being there for others.
Owner Bret McKee brings an equally people-focused, though decidedly unconventional, background. After studying German and living in Germany three different times, his career has taken him from teaching English and working in theater to stunt work, acting, writing, directing, technical tree climbing, and even helping rescue cats. Throughout those experiences, a common thread emerged: Bret enjoys bringing order to complicated situations, solving problems, keeping people safe, and taking care of those around him.
Together, they saw Caring Transitions as an opportunity to bring those strengths together in a meaningful way. Helping seniors and families through moves, downsizing, estate clearing, and other significant life transitions requires much more than managing a project.
